Not quite a Helping of History today at 12noon

Due to the current Covid-19 measures we are not able to bring you the usual Helping of History this week.

However instead we bring you Hannah Kate’s other passions: the local community and spoken and written word.

This week we bring you poetry from Amanda Steel who reads from her latest work “Always Darkest Before the Dawn”.

You can listen again to John Biggs of Whitemoss Youth and Community Centre talking about what has been happening at the centre during the Covid-19 Lockdown. To contact John phone 0161 278 1240 or email johnwhitemoss@googlemail.com

You can also listen again to spoken word pieces from Sara Read, George Melling, Antony Rowland, Marc Nash, Alan McKean, David Hartley, Sharena Lee Satti and Isabelle Kenyon
