Coming Up at 2pm: Hannah’s Bookshelf with special guest Jo Thomas

“Join me on Saturday at 2pm on North Manchester FM for more News, Reviews and Short Interviews on Hannah’s Bookshelf. Here’s what’s coming up on this week’s show…” writes presenter Hannah Kate.

A review of a new novel by David Gaffney I’ll be talking about Out of the Dark by David Gaffney (out now from Confingo Publishing)”.

An interview with Jo M. Thomas… I first interviewed Jo all the way back in May 2017. Jo is a tech druid by day, genre writer in the evening, and dog-parent all the time. She’s pretty sure she used to have other interests, but she’s mislaid them in a combination of lockdown and anxiety. And in case you’re curious, Jo’s Apocalypse Books selections were Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas, The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, and The Princess Bride by William Goldman”.

A review of a novel by Ramsey Campbell I’ll be reviewing The Way of the Worm, the third book in Ramsey Campbell’s Three Births of Daoloth trilogy (coming soon from Flame Tree Press)”.

“And What Are You Reading?… the section of the show where I ask writers about the books they’re reading at the moment. This week I’ve got another selection of reviews and recommendations. And if you’re a writer who’d like to take part, check out this post with details of how to join in!”

“Plus… you can hear my round-up of news from the World of Words. If you’ve got a news story you’d like to share, please use the News Form to submit it to the show.”

Catch the show on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
