Neighbourhood Media Connects Health (NeMCoH) is an ongoing project has originated from the impact of Covid-19 and how it has highlighted and exacerbated significant differences in the way ‘minority’ ethnic individuals interact with health care service providers as opposed to the general white population here in Manchester, UK.

The ultimate goal of the Project is to learn more about minority ethnic communities within our Neighbourhood in order for service providers to create a more inclusive approach to the provision of services. 

On today’s show, we have a discussion between Babz (Founder/CEO of Freshrb) and Dr Tammy Oluyori (Registered Counselling Psychologist). Dr Tammy gives her personal experiences with healthcare provisions as a service user whilst also speaking on her viewpoint as a service provider.
