Kulture Fest Is a festival event which celebrates African diaspora culture. We aim to unify the community and grow cultural knowledge, supporting young people’s potential to make a change in the community. Kulture Fest involves live performances, markets, storytelling, food, workshops and so much more.

This year Kulture Fest will run again for a second time. Kulture Fest 2022 (supported by the Agency project at Contact Theatre) was a huge success, with more than 150 diverse members of the community engaging with the event on the day. The aim is for Kulture Fest to become an annual event, growing year on year.

This is the Kulture Fest Manifesto:

• Bring the community together to celebrate and learn about culture

• Showcasing and promoting talents from Moston and Harpurhey from the African diaspora

• Showcasing and promoting diverse cultures to grow cultural knowledge

• Promoting black owned businesses (Arts and crafts, makers, artisans, small artisans, small entrepreneurs, market vendors).
