Starting tomorrow, from Friday 1st December SMASH! will be working with Company Chameleon (Dance Company) at Number 93, 93 Church Lane, in Harpurhey.
1st December 10:30 – 12:00/12:30 CHAT – Join Company Chameleon’s Co-Artistic Director, Kevin Edward Turner as he leads a conversation around his experiences of mental health and its impact on his creative and artistic work. .
8th December 10:30 -13:00 GO & SEE – Join Company Chameleon for a tour of their studio which will involve watching their dancers taking part in a professional class and getting to experience their rehearsals of ‘Witness This’.
15th December 10:30 – 12:30 CREATE – Join Company Chameleon for a taster session exploring movement and performance project, No Us and Them. The session will be fun, playful, and creative, offering a good sense of what the project is about and what we hope to do together.
The sessions are open to all adults. This is a fabulous opportunity to meet the dance company before Smash start their exciting new programme with them in February. They’re looking for 20 – 30 participants to be part of a new movement commission for SICK! Festival 2024.
