Coming up on Bits & Bats at 4pm – Ashley Fulwood from OCD UK

Ashley Fulwood is the chief executive of the national charity, OCD-UK, which he co-founded in 2004.  Having lived with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) for much of his adult life, Ashley now considers himself in part recovery, and continues to work towards full recovery.  He is also the co-author of the book ‘FAQs on OCD’ and has also contributed content about the condition for numerous other books and journals.  He remains passionate about raising awareness of and supporting others, and offering hope to all those suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

When not working for OCD-UK, he enjoys cycling and he is a season ticket holder at the world famous City Ground, where supporting Nottingham Forest brings him both joy and misery in equal measure. Despite that, Ashley believes both cycling and watching his football team help maintain his general mental well-being.
