Barbara Kobson is Senior Cardiac Nurse at the British Heart Foundation. She began her clinical career as a Combat Medical Technician with the British Army, before leaving to complete her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Southampton.

Barbara has worked extensively across UK cardiac wards, and within cardiovascular research and cardiac rehabilitation. In 2016 she was awarded an MSc in Preventive Cardiology from Imperial College London.

Barbara’s role at the BHF involves supporting heart patients via a dedicated helpline and acting as a spokesperson for the organisation.
