New Shows for May!

Wahey, we have another THREE brand new shows making their debut on the airwaves this week! You may have heard the presenters on the Community Train in recent months and we’re really chuffed to see them developing what they have learned to bring you the kind of shows that you just won’t hear anywhere else.

Up first is 50 RPM with Sam Whiteside. Starting this Sunday 18th May, 5-7pm, Sam brings you a celebration of the last 50 years of rock, metal and progressive music, taking in AC/DC and The Beatles to ZZ Top and The Zutons and all stops in between.   Twitter :: Email

Then on Wednesday 21st May, we have not one but TWO new shows!

Tune in 12-2pm for Sean’s Lunch Box. Join Sean and guests as he opens up his Lunch Box live on NMFM to bring you the best music, special guests and chat as well as regular competitions to win real prizes!

Then, at 4pm, tune in to Community Champions. Presented by Martin Roberts, the show will explore how rich North Manchester is in social capital. Featuring interviews with inspirational people involved in running community clubs and projects as well as people who have made big positive changes to their lives.

Remember, you can contact the studio if you’re listening in – all our presenters love to hear from you and happily take requests for tunes and shout outs.

Phone the studio on 0161 918 6911 or text 07757 083438.

If you’re listening on the move, don’t forget to to download our Reach Radio Player app.

And if you’re interested in getting involved with your local community radio station, take a look at our Volunteer page and follow the steps from there (full training provided).
