Thanks to everyone who took part in North Manchester FM 106.6’s Live Music Day took place on Saturday 23rd July on air and in the foyer of the Manchester Communication Academy.

The day, in partnership with sister community radio station ALL FM 96.9, was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Manchester.

There was a change to the schedule as volunteers presented a series of one hour shows with guests performing live in the studio including music, spoken word and poetry.
Many of the guests then performed in the Academy Foyer, including a storyteller who had never performed in front of an audience before.
