The Caribbean Carnival of Manchester will take place in Alexander Park Moss Side on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August.
The event, now in its 42nd year, will see a display of Caribbean culture and traditions played out in a multi cultural and multi ethnic environment.
This year organisers are expecting to beat last year’s attendance with an expected turn out of over 20,000 people.
North Manchester FM 106.6 will play a major role at this year’s event by sponsoring the main stage.
“This will include an array of artists, both local and international, performing live, dance troupes, dancers and entertainers and DJs digging the scene hosted by NMFM MCs Natalie and Sweet T” writes NMFM 106.6 breakfast show presenter Sam Brown, who will be managing the main stage.
On both days the event will start at 1pm and finish at 9 pm. This is a family event.
