North Manchester FM 106.6 will be broadcasting live from Central Library from 10am until 2pm today.
We will be reporting live from Volunteer Centre Manchester‘s Volunteers Fair, which runs from 10.30am until 2.30pm, part of Volunteers Week.

The performance space in central library will be taken over by voluntary/community social enterprise organisations doing great work across the city looking for people to get involved. Organisations include:
o Transport for sick children
o Men’s room
o NSPCC
o Back on Track
o LGBT Foundation
o Diversity Role Models
o National Football Museum
o GM Fire and Rescue
o Manchester Carers
o Centrepoint
Come along and learn more about the different types of volunteering available and to get involved!
There will also be ten-minute ‘lightning talks’ from organisations on this year’s theme of ‘Volunteering for All’, including from a volunteer who went from sleeping rough on the streets of Rochdale to becoming an ambassador for volunteering.
