Halloween Flash Fiction Competition
from Hannah’s Bookshelf
3 Minute Scares is back for its third terrifying year!
Can you tell a scary story in just 3 minutes? Want to win a fantastic prize from Breakout, Manchester’s real-life escape room game? This Halloween, I’m once again on the hunt for the spookiest flash fiction in Greater Manchester.
The best 5 entries will be played on this year’s Halloween episode of Hannah’s Bookshelf (on Saturday 27th October), with the winner receiving a fantastic prize from Breakout and the title of Greater Manchester’s Spookiest Wordsmith. 3 Minute Scares 2018 will be judged by horror author Dr Sorcha Ní Fhlaínn and Dr Xavier Aldana Reyes of MMU’s Centre for Gothic Studies.
The competition is open to anyone living in the Greater Manchester area. If you know anyone who might be interested in submitting an entry, please pass the details along. All you need to enter the competition is a computer/phone/tablet with a microphone (and a great idea, of course). Full details and instructions on how to submit your entry can be found here.
