For one marathon session, the legendary Dutch record shop and label Rush Hour are taking over Store Street.
Rush Hour’s success has been down to their uncanny ability to dig out the finest in house music history, and re-contextualise it alongside the greatest upfront tracks.
Disco evangelist Hunee headlines with what promises to be a euphoric set of deeply dug gems. He’s joined by Rush Hour founder Antal, and extended friends and family such as San Proper, Gerd Janson and Sadar Bahar, all picking records designed to show the sheer breadth of the Rush Hour sound – taking in everything from warm afrobeat to brittle techno.
Adding some serious Detroit clout to the event is Moodymann, who’s throbbing splices of disco and techno need little introduction. Running from the afternoon through til 2am, this is an event for the real heads; a celebration of underground dance culture at it’s finest.
