Tune in to listen to Bits and Bats with Abu from 4pm when he talks to Julie from Henshaws and Ali from NSPCC.

“The first interview was done with Julie from Henshaws”, writes Abu.
“Julie talks about how long she has been working for Henshaws where she is one of the managers, what variety of opportunities and equipment they offer supporting blind / visually impaired people & those with a range of other disabilities. Julie also talks about their Knowledge Village where people can learn how to continue different learning skills at home and how they can use the equipment”.
“I also talk to Ali Soltana who is a local Campaigns Manager at NSPCC where they help children and adults that are struggling in the current pandemic.”
“NSPCC is a charity for children and adults. Ali provides workshops as well as online webinars and she will be providing one-to-one support after the lockdown”.
Ali gives out details on how to get in touch with NSPCC for both children and adults.
Abu also shares important community information (in a number of community languages including English, Urdu and Punjabi) as well as a mix of great music.
