Manchester International Festival (MIF)is delighted to be returning from the 1st-18th July for our eighth festival. Over the last year we have been planning a festival that offers the same range of exciting new work and special events with your safety and comfort as the highest priority. As well as events on stage, there will be more free and outdoor events than ever before and a rich online offer to experience the Festival wherever you are.

One of MIF’s opening events is Sea Change – an extraordinary new dance event that will have its world premiere on Deansgate on Thursday 1st July. MIF is now looking for 160 Greater Manchester residents to take part in this event, working alongside French choreographer Boris Charmatz and his team of professional dancers to create this large-scale dance work.This opportunity is open to people 18yrs+, no previous dance experience is necessary, and it will be accessible for all levels of fitness.
