Hannah’s Bookshelf this Saturday 19th June from 2pm with guest Gaynor Jones

“Tune in this Saturday at 2pm for more from Hannah’s Bookshelf on North Manchester FM. This week, I’ll be talking to the fab Gaynor Jones. You might remember that Gaynor was one of the people I spoke to way back in March 2019 for my That’s What She Said International Women’s Day Special. It’s a pleasure to welcome her this week to the Hannah’s Bookshelf virtual studio!” writes presenter Hannah Kate.

“Gaynor Jones is a northern writer, currently based in Oldham. She is the recipient of a Northern Writer’s Award and has won or been placed in competitions including the Bridport Prize, Bath Flash Fiction and the Mairtín Crawford Award. She has performed her work at spoken word nights across Manchester and at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe as a guest of For Books’ Sake. Her novella-in-flash Among These Animals was published in March 2021 and she has recently signed with Laura Williams at Greene & Heaton”.

“I’ll be talking to Gaynor about her new novella and her flash fiction, and about her writing in general. And, of course, she’ll be sharing her selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books“.

Catch the show on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
