“Join me on Saturday at 2pm on North Manchester FM for more News, Reviews and Short Interviews on Hannah’s Bookshelf. Here’s what’s coming up on this week’s show…” writes presenter Hannah Kate.

“A review of a new novel by Ramsey Campbell… I’ll be talking about Somebody’s Voice, a new book by Ramsey Campbell (out now from Flame Tree Press)”.
“A review of a new book by Anne Goodwin… I’ll be reviewing Matilda Windsor is Coming Home (out now from Inspired Quill)”.
“An interview with Barbara Angela Kealy… I first interviewed Barbara back in June 2018. London born, with an Irish father and Italian mother, Barbara was the fourth of seven children. Never a shrinking violet, Barbara, together with her sister Sandra, attended the local dance school at an early age, loving the opportunity to perform on stage whenever the teachers arranged shows for the public. Shortly after forwarding her portfolio to a prestigious agency in London, Barbara became a lookalike for the iconic actress, Joan Collins, travelling around the United Kingdom and Europe in her exciting new showbusiness career. This has fuelled her life experiences, and certainly her first book, Double Deception. And in case you’re interested, Barbara’s Apocalypse Books choices were The Magician’s Wayby William Whitecloud, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and Murder Most Royal by Jean Plaidy”.
“And What Are You Reading?… the section of the show where I ask writers about the books they’re reading at the moment. This week I’ve got another selection of reviews and recommendations. And if you’re a writer who’d like to take part, check out this post with details of how to join in!”
“Plus… you can hear my round-up of news from the World of Words. If you’ve got a news story you’d like to share, please use the News Form to submit it to the show. For review requests, please get in touch via the Contact Form“
