Activity: Doing Zero with DesignMcr and Sick Festival

“How we grow, buy and eat food has a huge impact on the climate. How we work together as communities can make a real difference”.

This September Doing Zero brings together people from Harpurhey in Manchester and Kawangware in Nairobi, Kenya to see how local neighbourhoods can push back against the climate crisis.

DesignMcr are looking for people from Moston and Harpurhey to help them create a local campaign about what we can do right here, right now. It’s about learning. It’s about sharing knowledge. It’s about designing new ways to change how our communities think and act.

If you want to make a difference and meet others in Manchester and Nairobi who share your passion, DesignMcr want to hear from you.

The activity will take place over 4 full days on Saturday 4, 11, 18 and 25 September
from 9:45am to 5:00pm.

You will also receive a contribution of £100 each towards your time.
