Tune in on Tuesday 19th April at 7pm for first episode of new programme: Neighbourhood Media Connects Health (NeMCoH)

Neighbourhood Media Connects Health (NeMCoH) is an ongoing project has originated from the impact of Covid-19 and how it has highlighted and exacerbated significant differences in the way ‘minority’ ethnic individuals interact with health care service providers as opposed to the general white population here in Manchester, UK.

The ultimate goal of the Project is to learn more about minority ethnic communities within our Neighbourhood in order for service providers to create a more inclusive approach to the provision of services.

On today’s show, we have Babz (Founder/CEO of Freshrb) and Dr Dayo Eseonu discussing about previous research that has been done around inequality and health equity. This conversation acts as a foundation to the research from the NeMCoH project.

This show is broadcast by North Manchester FM 106.6 as part of Radio based Covid Health Initiatives for Black Communities in North Manchester programme. This project is funded by The National Lottery’s Awards for All programme.

Tune in on Tuesday from 7pm on North Manchester FM 106.6 on your radio, online and on your smart speakers!
