“Keep Manchester Tidy will be promoting 70 celebratory litter picks to mark the Queen’s Jubilee. The litter picks will focus on parks and playgrounds as part of ‘Our Year’; a year dedicated to the children and young people of our city” writes Kate Tite, Neighbourhood Officer, Charlestown, Harpurhey and Higher Blackley.

“The Platinum Picks will enable residents, schools, community groups, businesses, and organisations to come together to show pride in our city and support our aim for a clean and green Manchester” adds Kate. 

The launch event and Family Fun Day is taking place this Saturday 21st May at Queens Park between 11am-3pm.
