It’s a busy night tonight as from 7pm we broadcast the latest Neighbourhood Media Connects Health (NeMCoH) with guest Javeno McLean of J7 Health Centre before handing over to FCUMRadio for live football commentary from FC United of Manchester at 7.30/ 7.45pm.

Neighbourhood Media Connects Health (NeMCoH) is an ongoing project has originated from the impact of Covid-19 and how it has highlighted and exacerbated significant differences in the way ‘minority’ ethnic individuals interact with health care service providers as opposed to the general white population here in Manchester, UK.

The ultimate goal of the Project is to learn more about minority ethnic communities within our Neighbourhood in order for service providers to create a more inclusive approach to the provision of services.

On today’s show, we have a discussion between Babz (Founder/CEO of Freshrb) and Javeno Mclean (Owner of J7Health Centre). Javeno is a National Fitness Award Winner 2021 and is the WORLD record holder for the biggest WHEELCHAIR exercise class. He speaks on his inspiration behind his health centre and gives key considerations in what can make healthcare inclusive in North Manchester.
