Join me on Saturday at 2pm on North Manchester FM for more News, Reviews and Short Interviews on Hannah’s Bookshelf. Here’s what’s coming up on this week’s show…
An interview with Allison Symes… I first interviewed Allison back in March 2021. Allison is an award winning flash fiction writer with two collections out with Chapeltown Books and a third on submission to them. She is the flash fiction/short story editor for US-based online magazine, Mom’s Favorite Reads, and writes a monthly column there, setting a writing challenge. She is a member of the Society of Authors, Association of Christian Writers, and Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading. In case you’re interested, Allison’s Apocalypse Books choices were Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, and The Daughter of Time by Josephine Tey.
A review of a short story collection by David Rose… I’ll be reviewing Interpolated Stories, a collection of short stories by David Rose (out now from Cōnfingō)
A review of a book by Larry Forrester… I’ll be talking about Fly for Your Life by Larry Forrester, which has been re-released with a new introduction and conclusion by S.A. Steele
And What Are You Reading?… the section of the show where I ask writers about the books they’re reading at the moment. This week I’ve got another selection of reviews and recommendations. And if you’re a writer who’d like to take part, check out this post with details of how to join in!
Plus… you can hear my round-up of news from the World of Words. If you’ve got a news story you’d like to share, please use the News Form to submit it to the show.
Catch the show on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
