Tune in to John Bailey’s 60s Jukebox Show sponsored by Each Step Dementia Cafe today from 10am.

“Each Step Dementia Cafe meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month 11am – 1pm at 198 Charleston Road, Blackley, Manchester M9 7ED. The cafes are completely free, and everyone who is affected by dementia in our local community is welcome” writes presenter John Bailey.

“These sessions provide people who are living with the condition and their loved ones a fun and informal place to share their experience, receive expert advice, enjoy a range of activities, meet new people and have fun!”

The Cafe is run and organised by Elaine Young who makes everybody feel very welcome.

The cafes start with tea/coffee and biscuits, then a sing song and quizzes or games. At around noon there is something to eat and finish with a final sing song before people leave.

“We are pleased to be working with Each Step Dementia Cafe” writes Station Manager David Kay “and I think that 60s Jukebox is a perfect fit”.

60s Jukebox goes out live on Wednesday from 10am until 12noon, repeated on Friday from 7pm until 9pm on North Manchester FM 106.6 on your radio, online and on your smart speakers!
